Privacy Policy

What you give us. Your name, email address and phone number; the billing and shipping address you enter at checkout; your order history; and anything you write to us through our contact form or by email.

Payment details. Card payments are handled by Shopify and its payment providers. Hanico never sees or stores your full card number.

What we collect automatically. Your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how long you spend on them, and the site that referred you. This comes from cookies and similar technologies described in section 05.

What we receive from others. Shopify and the apps installed on our store may pass us order, analytics and fraud-prevention data. Our fulfilment partners and couriers pass us tracking and delivery status.

We use your information to:

• process, pack and ship your order, including through third-party suppliers
• keep you updated on your order and answer your questions
• take payment and screen for fraudulent transactions
• send marketing email, but only if you have opted in — every message has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects an order in progress
• understand which products and pages people find useful, so we can improve them
• meet our legal obligations, including tax records and the customs paperwork that international shipments require

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the parties needed to run the shop and get your order to you:

• Shopify, which hosts hanicosell.com and processes our transactions
• Payment providers, to take and verify your payment
• Couriers and fulfilment suppliers, in Pakistan and abroad. To deliver your order they receive your name, delivery address, phone number and the items ordered
• Email and analytics tools we use to send order updates and understand site traffic
• Customs and government authorities, where an international shipment requires it
• Law enforcement or regulators, where we are legally required to

Hanico operates from Pakistan and ships worldwide, and some of the products we sell are dispatched by suppliers based in other countries. That means your name, address and order details may be transferred to and processed in a country other than your own, under data protection laws that may differ from those at home.

When you place an order you are asking us to arrange delivery to you, and this transfer is a necessary part of doing that.

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep items in your basket, remember your preferences such as currency, measure site traffic and performance, and — if we are running advertising — show relevant ads on platforms such as Meta or Google.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the shop, including the basket and checkout, will not work correctly without them.

We keep your personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes set out in this policy. Order and payment records are kept longer where tax, accounting or consumer-protection law requires it. When information is no longer needed we delete it or anonymise it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• ask what personal information we hold about you, and receive a copy
• have inaccurate information corrected
• ask us to delete your information
• object to or restrict how we use it
• withdraw consent to marketing at any time
• ask us to transfer your information to another provider

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with comparable law such as the GDPR, you may have further rights, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these, email support@hanicosell.com. We will respond within 30 days, and we may need to verify your identity before we act on the request.

Our store runs on Shopify's infrastructure, payments are processed by PCI-compliant providers, and hanicosell.com is served over an encrypted connection. We limit access to personal information to the people who need it to fulfil orders and answer your questions.

No method of transmitting or storing data online is completely secure, so while we take these measures seriously we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

Hanico is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, email support@hanicosell.com and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as our shop, our suppliers or the law change. The revised version is posted on this page with a new date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will make that clear rather than relying on the date alone.
